Natural disaster to descend on L.A.
While Texas and parts of La. are preparing for one ferocious natural disaster in the form of Hurricane Rita, Los Angeles is preparing for another of a different kind: one that encourages ‘insurgents’ to rise up and kill British troops. Of course, that natural disaster has a name, and it’s George Galloway.
So far, no commitments from Congress on pork cutting
On Sunday, I blogged about the “Porkbusters” campaign started by Glenn Reynolds and The Truth Laid Bear blog, which is an effort to get bloggers and blog readers from across the blogosphere to log the pork they have found in their respective state’s budget, post about it on their blog, email their Congressional representatives and urge them to consider cutting said pork.
