From the very moment Hillary Clinton announced her intentions to run for president, I knew this would happen. I knew that one day, the seemingly unflappable junior Senator from New York would go through what could be described as not one of her finer moments in front of a crowd, and that as an excuse, she’d do what so many other so-called “equality-loving” feminists do: play the victim card.
If you’re like me, you didn’t bother watching last night’s Democratic debate because you probably had better things to do – like watch the leaves fall or something. Seriously, last night’s debate proved to be the one to watch, as Hillary Clinton made her first official “noticeable” mistake: her facade started to crumble, the day before Halloween no less. Of course, being the frontrunner, the other candidates were targeting her, but the Senator proved she didn’t need much prodding to to prove that on the issue of giving illegals driver’s licenses in NY – as ordered by New York Governor Eliot Spitzer – she doesn’t know what she’s talking about. It seems like hardly a week goes by when we aren’t hearing about another blunder occurring within the Edwards for president campaign. The latest happened after a graduate student from UNC-Chapel Hill did a report for a UNC-CH’s student-run television program that questioned whether or not it was a smart move for Edwards’, who fancies himself as a champion of sorts for the poor, to have his campaign HQ in a wealthy section of town in Chapel Hill.
