Since Friday night’s Palin speech at CSU-Stanislaus, which saw an open-mic incident take center stage with mainstream media journalists being clearly heard slamming Sarah Palin post-speech, apparently I’ve left some people with the impression that I want the journalists involved “fired.” That’s not the case.

Politico and several other news outlets are reporting that Helen Thomas is retiring, effective immediately. Her retirement comes in response to the universal outcry over outrageous remarks that Thomas, a longtime opinion journalist allowed to be a part of the WH press corps, made last month advocating that Jews “go back to Poland and Germany.”
