It’s an absolutely gorgeous day here in Charlotte, a perfect fall day for some football. Looking forward to today’s game as I’m hoping we can build some momentum after last week’s surprising (to me) away game win over the Redskins. Are Panthers players starting to gel as a unit? Let’s hope so.

Unfortunately, I don’t have my football pool picks to share with you this week as I’ve misplaced them but I can tell you one game I know what my pick was for and that’s in the Panthers vs. Redskins game. I picked the ‘skins. As a matter of fact, I can’t see myself picking the Panthers for the forseeable future until/when they look like they’re finally getting it together.
If I recall correctly, the President himself hasn’t been here since August, but surrogates have visited on his behalf – like the VP and Mrs. Biden, among others. Via the Charlotte Observer:
