ST reader Great White Rat forwarded me this link to the beginning of a Philly Inquirer series on a woman named Shannen Rossmiller, who is helping the FBI track down terrorists. She’s a mother by day, and by night, she’s catching terrorists online. It’s longish, so it might be a good idea to print it out, but it’s well worth the read.
I’m a couple days behind in blogging about this but I wanted to bring you up to speed on the Secular Islam Summit, which took place Sunday and Monday in St. Petersburg, FL. The Summit included noted Muslim critics of radical Islam like the very brave and outspoken Dr. Wafa Sultan, among others. I briefly mentioned the story of Marine Cpl. Jason Dunham, who was killed in an IED explosion in Iraq back in April of 2004, in this post of misc. links a few days ago, but wanted to create a separate thread about him, considering today was the day he was posthumously presented with the Medal of Honor.
