FAIL: Atlantic, NYT go full scale stupid in accusing Romney of welfare racism

Romney’s playing the raaaaaaaaaaaaace card!!!!” is the theme of the day as MSDNC dunce Chris Matthews and other pro-Obama “journalists” have latched on to what they see as the Romney campaign’s attempt at trying to win more white voters by making cracks about Obama’s birth certificate and “lying” about Obama’s recent move on welfare-to-work requirements.  In the above link, Matthews does what he does best by yelling and spitting about the Michigan birth certificate joke that Mitt Romney made this past weekend, insinuating that underneath Romney’s innocent enough joke about the birth certificate issue – an issue the Obama campaign itself has used to its advantage in the form of mugs and yoga pants merchandise on its website – Romney’s trying to remind voters of Obama’s Kenyan roots. This in spite of the fact that Romney repeatedly pushed back against the so-called “birther” movement long ago, and in spite of the fact that Chris Matthews himself has pushed the Obama-Kenya angle on his own program, and his was actually directed to and about Obama, unlike Mitt Romney’s joke......   [Read More]

#ToldjahSo: Urban League says Obama can’t afford to lose even a small percentage of black vote in NC

If you’ve been reading this blog at least for the past year or so you’ve seen my posts in which I’ve described scenarios where Obama could lose the election this fall due to a fall in support from a key voting bloc: the black vote. Record numbers of black people turned out for Obama in 2008 across America, and they propelled him to victory in key states that helped put him over the required number of electoral votes needed to become the next POTUS. NC was one of those states. Traditionally considered a “red state” (NC had not gone red in Presidential elections since Jimmy Carter), Obama was able to flip this state in 2008 narrowly thanks to a strong turnout among youth voters, independents, and black voters......   [Read More]

Bad news for #Trayvon militants: FBI finds no evidence of #Zimmerman racism

Yet another week goes by in which militant liberal supporters of the state’s case against George Zimmerman in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin have to be disappointed. This time it’s over statements collected by the FBI in which they tried to determine whether or not there was evidence in existence that proved Zimmerman had a history of racism, which in turn could have led to the possibility of federal “hate crime” charges being leveled against Zimmerman in the event they thought they could prove he was motivated by Martin’s race. From the Orlando Sentinel:.....   [Read More]

#NC8: Rep. Kissell [D] loses support of local black leadership caucus PAC

As I wrote a few days ago, NC8’s Larry Kissell already has an uphill battle going into the fall election what with being an elected Democrat in a district that has been redrawn in such a way that makes it more favorable for a Republican to win.  In an attempt to appeal to those voters, Kissell will vote next week to repeal ObamaCare, voted to hold Atty Gen. Eric Holder in contempt of Congress, may skip out on attending the DNC here in Charlotte, and has announced he will not endorse Barack Obama.  This, unsurprisingly, has ruffled the feathers of a local black leadership caucus PAC – which announced yesterday it will not support Kissell in his bid to stay in office:.....   [Read More]
