Ever wonder how liberals can, on one hand, pitch a fit over “how much money we’re wasting in Iraq” because they believe that money can be better used in our own back yard, yet on the other hand can turn right back around and go into orbit with happiness over the fact that President Obama has reversed a Bush executive order that banned sending US dollars to other countries to help pay for abortions and “abortion-related information”?
“Warped” doesn’t even begin to describe this man’s opinion:
For months back during the 2004 campaign, we heard from media elites about how “BushCo” were using so-called “wedge issues” like gay marriage and illegal immigration in an effort to deliberately divide the American electorate for purposes of winning the election in the fall. The ‘slimy’ GOP would stop at nothing, they insinuated, to keep their power both in Congress and the WH.
During the weekend of the Saddleback Civil Forum, Barack Obama did an interview with Christian Broadcast Network’s (CBN) David Brody in which the junior Senator of Illinois got steamed up over attacks on his Illinois State Senate record on the Born Alive Infant Protection Act. In the interview, he outright accused the NRLC of “lying” about his position, which was that if the bill that came up before the Ill. State Senate virtually mirrored federal BAIPA legislation – legislation which ‘protected’ a woman’s right to ‘choose’ – then he would have supported it.
