When comedian/TV talk show host Chelsea Handler isn’t going on unhinged Twitter rants against President Donald Trump and other elected Republicans, she’s opining on members of his administration. Nothing wrong with that in and of itself, except that in doing the latter she sometimes defeats the purpose of her feminist message (and it’s not the first time). For example, take a look at the following Tweets, sent from her account late last week and over the weekend and directed towards White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders:
Much has been written this year by the activist left about so-called “cultural appropriation” during Halloween and how it’s “wrong, blah blah, my culture is not a costume” and all that. But one woman’s simple response via Twitter shines the light on the left’s duplicity on the issue.
Regarding the disturbing stories that have recently come out of the woodwork about Harvey Weinstein: I understand for some – many – women across the spectrum – it takes a lot of courage to speak up about sexual harassment/abuse/assault in their respective industries, for various reasons.
Actress/social justice activist Susan Sarandon and businesswoman Carly Fiorina don’t have very much in common politically. Sarandon is a registered Democrat and staunch liberal who supported an admitted socialist for president. Fiorina, on the other hand, is a conservative Republican who ran for president in 2015 alongside 16 other candidates. Sarandon is pro-choice. Fiorina is pro-life.
