Race-baiting Democrats strike again

Posted by: Sister Toldjah on September 8, 2006 at 12:50 pm

This time it’s Claire McCaskill, the Democrat who wants Missouri Senator Jim Talent’s seat in the US Congress. Here’s what she said:

George Bush let people die on rooftops in New Orleans because they were poor and because they were black.

And you know what? She’ll probably get away with it.

Hat tip to Hugh Hewitt, who provides a timely reminder:

Time to donate to incumbent Jim Talent –who has done a great job in the Senate on Armed Services– especially as Bill Clinton will be arriving in town to help McCaskill today.

He has a suggestion for Bubba:

What Clinton needs to do is deliver a double Sister Souljah moment, condemning McCaskill’s deep nuttery and his party’s lurch into high censorship mode vis-a-vis “The Path to 9/11″.

Won’t happen. Especially considering he was demanding that the docudrama either be revised or pulled.

On the bright side, that’s the closest I’ve come to getting mentioned on Hugh’s new blog since he’s been on Townhall.com yet … remember, Hugh, next time it’s Sister Toldjah ;)

Contrast McCaskill’s (Democrat) statement, “George Bush let people die on rooftops in New Orleans because they were poor and because they were black.

    with the following information:

Bumbling by top disaster-management officials fueled a perception of general inaction, one that was compounded by impassioned news anchors. In fact, the response to Hurricane Katrina was by far the largest–and fastest-rescue effort in U.S. history, with nearly 100,000 emergency personnel arriving on the scene within three days of the storm’s landfall.

Dozens of National Guard and Coast Guard helicopters flew rescue operations that first day–some just 2 hours after Katrina hit the coast. Hoistless Army helicopters improvised rescues, carefully hovering on rooftops to pick up survivors. On the ground, “guardsmen had to chop their way through, moving trees and recreating roadways,” says Jack Harrison of the National Guard. By the end of the week, 50,000 National Guard troops in the Gulf Coast region had saved 17,000 people; 4000 Coast Guard personnel saved more than 33,000.

I don’t know how you do it Sister, you seem to get noticed by all the top personalities in our famous talk radio hosts out there, just what kind of a charm or spell do you have on them anyways? Hum LOL :d:d

“…her comment was referring to “what many people felt about the tragedy of the response to Katrina.” Always about the feeeeeeeeelings, forget the facts like……”tragic because so many people in New Orleans did not have the resources to help themselves,” …The resources lacking as I see it are as I’ve stated before here in more detail, but the short version is what’s not in their DNA and what is. Evolution is and can be an ugly thing indeed, as the *dumbing down* caused devolution continues its descending spiral and condescending attitudes.

Guess what, if GW said everybody out and made it mandatory, you’d be bitchin’ bout somethin’ else, like the nattering hordes you’ve become. OH MY RIGHTS! MY RIGHTS! Notice that according to all the figures I’ve seen, not a single true Asian died in that melee of storm related and city gummint asshat inabilities (which is stiiiiiill carrying on). Is it because no Asians live there? Is it because they heard the words *Big storm-Three days-Leave now*? Is it because you just voted for the same whackjob that seems to have stolen all the bus keys and saved his own butt? Is it because Rove created the entire east coast weather system just to eradicate morons? Or maybe just maybe, there is some personal responsibility as lacking, as glaciers in the Sahara.
