While the new majority Democrats are promising investigations and inquiries galore, as well as working on perfecting their Iraq cut and run strategy, their far left base is not going to let so-called “centrist” Democrats forget exactly who put them over the top last Tuesday.
First, he dressed up in a disgraceful Halloween costume that mocked the death of well-respected Aussie wildlife lover Steve Irwin. Now he’s “outing” Ken Mehlman by alleging that the soon-to-be former RNC Chairman is gay. Predictably, the Nutroot contingent in the blogosphere are boiling mad that CNN edited out Maher’s comments about Mehlman in re-runs of the initial Larry King Show broadcast (which is shown in the Political Pit Bull link).
With SF liberal Rep. Nancy Pelosi set to become the first woman speaker in the history of the House of Representatives, her hometown, San Francisco, has been in the spotlight a little more so than normal, so much so that some San Franciscans are attempting to dispute the kook left liberal image it has around the country.
