Remember macacagate? The WaPo milked that one for all its worth, including the featuring of a three page puff piece on the ‘victim’ in macacagate: S.R. Sidarth, who is working on candidate Webb’s staff in order to get him elected this fall over Senator George Allen. This, after Allen apologized numerous times in the span of about a week for calling Sidarth ‘macaca’ – and was still apologizing for the remark as of last week.
The man who wanted (and still wants) to be president is calling for “insurance” for CIA agents against the “recklessness” of the Bush administration’s interrogation tactics. In today’s Wall Street Journal, he writes:
… for all sorts of things perceived to have been racist that he’s said or done in his lifetime. All of this over the ‘macaca‘ flap.
Results should start rolling in in about 15 minutes for the Rhode Island primary. The primary is of interest to Republicans who are wanting to see who wins between the liberal Republican Lincoln Chafee and the more conservative Republican Stephen Laffey.
Used to describe Senators Harry Reid, Dick Durbin, and any of the other irresponsible, Constitutionally-derelict jack-asses who think threatening to pull ABC’s broadcast license is something they can get away with.
