Mary Katharine Ham has the 411 on some recent comments Senator John Edwads wife Elizabeth made about a neighbor to their 28,000 sq. foot estate. The Associated Press headline read “Elizabeth Edwards afraid of neighbor – She has never met `rabid Republican,’ but wouldn’t be nice” and here’s why:
It’s not just an ordinary run-of-the-mill presser, either. It has something to do with his wife’s health. The blogosphere and newsosphere is abuzz with speculation as to what he might say. Edwards’ wife Elizabeth, as many of you know, was diagnosed with cancer shortly before the 2004 elections, but the cancer has been in remission. Via the Associated Press:

Earlier today I blogged about liberal hypocrites, and mentioned in my post that John Edwards had surrundered to the Nutroots in backing out of a scheduled Dem presidential candidate debate in Nevada because the debate was going to be co-hosted by Fox News.
Every once in a while, you just have to stop and marvel at the stunning amount of liberal hypocrisy that exists in this country today, most of it committed unchecked. I’ve talked about it numerous times at this blog before, most recently over le affaire de Coulter.
