John Edwards has issued a challenge to the other Dem contenders to help him eliminate federal special interest contributions to the Democratic party, and while doing so is making an appeal to his supporters to send him some ‘clean’ money.
I swear, the hits just keep comin’ from this guy. Let’s take a short trip back in time, to review comments made by the former Senator from NC on the idea of a military draft (blogged about originally in this post):
First, the initial assertion, back on August 3 (emphasis added)
In other words, even though they can’t ‘make’ Silky Phoney black or a woman, he can still adequately represent their needs, according to implications made by Elizabeth Edwards on press coverage of Obama and Hillary vs. her husband’s press coverage. This is also the strong implication we get when we hear and read from other Democrats talking about how John Edwards supposedly knows more about women’s issues than Hillary or can better represent black people than Barack Obama.
