I was just reading this story in the NY Daily News about how Al Sharpton is on a crusade of sorts now to get record companies to stop allowing the use of the “b” the “n” and the “h” words in rap music, and my first thought was, “Wow, look at Al Sharpton – he’s actually doing something to really help the black community for a change.”
This one was just too good to pass up.
The Imus controversy couldn’t have happened at a better time for the Democrats’ favorite racist Reverends Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson. The mediots are so focused on their ‘righteous outrage’ over racial comments Don Imus made about the women’s Rutgers basketball team that they are largely ignoring asking them what their thoughts are on the news that the three lacrosse players whom the Reverends proclaimed as guilty were being cleared of all charges and had been declared “innocent” by the NC Attorney General, citing a rogue Democrat district attorney by the name of Mike Nifong.
I don’t have any particularly strong opinions about Don Imus one way or the other, other than thinking he’s always been overrated.
Is it just me or does anyone else out there feel a bit surreal about MSNBC’s Don Imus apologizing for racially insensitive comments on Al Sharpton’s radio show?
