Hey, we just keep regressing! First it was mobsters, then “un-American,” then Astroturfers, then fascists, then terrorists, then brownshirts, then racists, then assassins, and now Neanderthals.
Most of us assumed when union thugs answered the call from the Barackopolis to show up in force at the healthcare town halls in a show of “support” for ObamaCare that they were doing it as sort of a “scratch my back, I scratch yours” kinda thing. They supported Democrats heavily during the campaign, and naturally were continuing to do so after Obama’s inauguration. Well, come to find out – the back scratching was on a much grander scale than we thought it was. Via the Detroit Free Press:
I find it interesting how so many on the left are complaining about the fact that so-called “gullible” people who “don’t have a clue what they’re talking about” as it relates to the ObamaCare issue are heavily influencing the debate.
A couple of weeks ago, Sarah Palin, talking about the issue of ObamaCare, warned Americans about the so-called “death panels” that would come as a result of ObamaCare, “end of life” panels that would essentially decide who was worthy for care and who wasn’t. The remarks, as you can imagine, ignited a firestorm of controversy – with the left erupting like they usually do whenver Sarah Palin speaks her mind and even some on the right were and are wondering what the heck she’stalking about.
