Who will be the Mc’s veep choice?
With the Republican nomination race effectively decided after Mitt Romney’s departure from it yesterday, talk today has turned to who McCain should select for his VP running mate.

A week ago, I wrote about Berkeley’s latest anti-military antics, and I was by far not the only one. Apparently the outrage generated by blogs, as well as the threat to cut off Berkeley funding by Senator Jim DeMint (R-SC) has them backtracking big time (h/t: BCB):
As longtime readers know, I’ve been very critical of Senator Barack Obama at this blog, even before he officially announced his candidacy, only praising him once that I can recall. It’s no secret that I’m not a fan of the O-man, but I want to make clear that I hold no personal ill-will towards the junior Senator from Illinois. He seems like he’d be a nice guy. I just don’t think he’s fit to be president of the United States, for reasons mentioned in the posts I linked to in this paragraph. He’s too liberal, very inexperienced, and has very, very bad ideas on how to conduct foreign policy.
The rumors were swirling this morning, but now it’s official. The AP’s got a blurb about it – I just heard about it on Rush a few minutes ago when I went out to grab a bite to eat. Romney made the announcement during his CPAC speech.
Having a busy day – hope to be back this afternoon. If not, definitely this evening.
All is well with the world again. 😀
