Let’s hope they put on their best faces for the cameras 🙂 Both teams are hoping to get to 5-5, and a good way to get there will be for the Panters to neutralize the “wildcat offense.” Will Delhomme and the gang continue to use the “no huddle” strategy, which worked out well for them this past Sunday?
It’s a beautiful day for football here in Charlotte – a perfect day, in fact, for a miraculous win by the 3-5 Panthers over the visiting division rivals the 5-3 Falcons. Do they have what it takes to go the distance? The season so far for the Cats has been decidedly mixed on that front. All I can do is hope that they win. I won’t predict that they will – we all know how that usually turns out!
Well, it’s the Panthers’ turn to try and stop the Saints’ unbeaten streak, which now stands at 7. The Cats are 3-4, and would like nothing better than to capitalize on last week’s big “team of old” win over the Cardinals, as a win today would take them to the .500 mark for the first time this year. Playing away makes it all the more tough, and the Saints are hard to beat (the Falcs came close last week but no cigar) but when picking football teams to win on Sundays my heart always wins out so I’m picking DelhommeCo. to upset the Saints for their first loss.
The Panthers (2-4) take on the Cards (4-2) in Arizona today in what the Panthers hope to be a rebound game from last week’s disappointing loss to the Bills last weekend at home. Not only that, but the Panthers would enjoy a little revenge for their embarassing playoff loss last season to the Cards.
The 2-3 Panthers take on the 2-4 Bills at BOA Stadium here in Charlotte this afternoon on an overcast but warm day. The Cats are going to try to capitalize on their 2 game win streak by going .500 and winning another one at home.
