The “Goranation” begins
Sorry to post this around dinnertime, but I had to write about it at some point – it might as well be now 😉

The BBC has stepped into it again. It appears that a paintball trip they funded for a few Islamists as part of a BBC “reality”-type series – that was supposed to make western “paranoia” over Islamists seem unfounded – has backfired, with the recipients of the reality check being the BBC themselves. The Times of London reports:
I was never a big fan of Don Imus, but I’m glad to see he’s back on the airwaves today after all the BS he had to endure from the likes of race hustler Al Sharpton (who has his own radio show) among other hypocritical racists, after the Rutgers womens basketball team controversy in which Imus called the team “nappy-headed hos,” a comment that eventually led to him being fired from his MSNBC/CBS TV/radio gig.
Michelle Malkin sums up nicely The New Republic’s admission – after 5 months of dodging and weaving – that they can’t stand by the Beauchamp stories, and notes the differences between TNR’s belated mea culpa and National Review Online’s immediate addressing of questions regarding recent questionable reporting that had been posted on their Tank blog.
I tell ya, the more news that comes out about the liberally biased questioners at CNN’s Republican YouTube debate, the worse they look. Malkin’s latest column addresses the number of questioners who have actually been found out to be Democrats, ‘unaffiliated’ supporters of Democrat policies, or at the very least people who have declared support for Democrat contenders.
On the front page, no less. But just this past Saturday, they repeated their calls for Democrats to keep pushing for a cut and run strategy that would effectively cut off progress in Iraq at the knees. In light of their recent discovery that the situation on the ground in Iraq is improving, will we see a revised editorial in this weekend’s paper reflecting that? I won’t hold my breath.
