I was never a big fan of Don Imus, but I’m glad to see he’s back on the airwaves today after all the BS he had to endure from the likes of race hustler Al Sharpton (who has his own radio show) among other hypocritical racists, after the Rutgers womens basketball team controversy in which Imus called the team “nappy-headed hos,” a comment that eventually led to him being fired from his MSNBC/CBS TV/radio gig.
A black firefighter has admitted to staging a fake “hate crime” at a fire station in East Baltimore. Via the Baltimore Sun (emphasis added):
Awesome-as-always sports columnist Jason Whitlock, who was a lion amongst sheep with his outspoken and candid commentary on phoney race hustlers and the real problems facing the black community during the Don Imus controversy has penned another great column on race in response to what he sees as misplaced blame being thrown about by the “black media” and prominent sports figures regarding the murder of Redskins safety Sean Taylor:
My initial thought on this was “say it isn’t so!” but on thinking about it a little bit more, I believe it’s an excellent idea.
Poor Barack Obama. Once viewed as the man to beat, his rookie mistakes and inexperience have, in part, led to his poll numbers consistently staying way behind frontrunner Hillary Clinton for the last several months.
By now we are all familiar with the mainstream media’s penchant for sloppy, sometimes non-existent factchecking, in addition to their exaggerations and lies (some of them deliberate), which all lead to news reports that – instead of informing the people as they are supposed to, grossly misinform the reader which, in turn, leads to mininformation being spread across the country (and world) as “fact” – and at that point, a popular myth is born, a myth that rarely gets revisited by the very journalists who aided in creating it in the first place. And even in the rare cases they do revisit, it’s usually too late. The damage has already been done.
